What to make with Charm Packs

I don't know about you, but charm packs are extra alluring for me. When I can't afford a whole collection, it is the easy way to get my hands on those yummy patterns. So many others in blogland have great ideas for what to do with these little squares, too. I thought I'd get a collection together to share.

If you have some ideas, I'd love to add them and share your links.

1. Scarf--For toddler/kid size, sew nine of them together and back it with flannel, fleece or linen (depending upon the season). For teen/adult size, I sew eleven of the squares together and do the same.

2. Belt--Sew the blocks together to the desired length, cut a mid-weight interfacing to that length as well. Fold block strip in half and iron. Iron ends into the center. Top-stitch both sides, add the d-rings and finish opposite end. Viola!

3. Notebook/Journal Cover--Craft Apple has a great tutorial for these!

4. Purse--Lady Girl Designs has a tutorial for this item.

5. Table Topper/Wall Hanging--Heart to Hand shares ideas for these.

6. Bunting--Vand Co. has a fast tutorial for making these. Super easy!

7. Flower Brooch--Vintage Indie shows you how to make these little lovelies.

8. Baby Quilt--Crazy Mom Quilts shows us how to make this traditional quilt with modern charm.

9. Lap Quilt--Craft Apple shows us a sample how to use these little squares to keep big people cozy.

10. Inspiration Board--Craft Apple shares her inspiration board covered in charms.

11. Window Dressing--Lovely Little Handmade pairs a banner with a window valance.
12. Embellish Dishtowels--Fun way to shake up a housewares staple from Sew Inspired.
